As lead singer for Toronto’s Our Lady Peace, Raine Maida’s voice and song-writing has been an integral sound on Modern Rock radio since they burst on to the world stage in the early 1990’s. Since then they’ve sold million of records, won four Juno Awards and ten MuchMusic Video Awards. Raine, and his wife, Chantal Kreviazuk currently live in Los Angeles with their three sons. Both are accomplished songwriters contributing music and lyrics to artists as diverse as Carrie Underwood, Kelly Clarkson and Meat Loaf. They both have taken on a number of political causes, most notably making significant contributions to raise funds and awareness for War Child. The duo were honoured with the Allan Slaight Humanitarian Spirit Award in 2012. Raine’s second full-length current album “We All Get Lighter” was released in 2013, and has spawned the Modern Alt Rock single “Montreal”.
